We, all four of us in two suites said the exact same. Accommodations and room were large, luxurious and the hotel has everything one could want in a prime location.
All four of us in two suites have only the same complaint. All four adjustable beds were horribly uncomfortable, no matter what setting. After sleeping on them for four nights, none of us would ever buy that type of bed and will inquire at every hotel we stay at in the future if they have that type.
Location is great. Within walking distance of all the accountants, lawyers and business professionals (I was here on business). The suite setup is ideal for business people sharing a room or for someone receiving business visitors in their room.
We stay at this hotel frequently. It is our favorite place to stay in Halifax. We love that the sleeping area is separate, that way you can have guests in your room. With the pull out couch, cafe table, sink, fridge and microwave plus tv in one room and tv and beds in another there is plenty of room for everyone. We enjoy the pool and hot tub as well.
We could not get the sauna to work. One girl swimming in the pool thought she found a piece of glass in the pool.
we liked the layout of the Suite with a separate bedroom and living sections. All hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was well equipped with amenities.
some cosmetic maintenance needs to be completed in this room - areas where paint was off the walls by the window and as well there had been previously a leak in the bedroom ceiling that now discoloured and left maintenance work to be done.
I liked the location of the Radisson as well as the layout of the room.
i really liked the cleanliness of the room. everything was impeccable and the location was so good that we could walk all around without having to use our vehicle. the only thing i didn't like was the city worker who tried to give me a parking ticket while i was waiting (in my vehicle) to unload my luggage. but it has nothing to do with the hotel and the hotel staffs.
The front desk personnel and the housekeeping people were excellent. We arrived late at night, and everything went extremely well, and the rooms were well cared for
There are quite a few bars and pubs near the hotel, and, being a summer night, the music was quite loud and could be heard in the sleeping rooms
The pool was excellent and the daily staff was very good as far as cleaning the room. Also the breakfast was very good.
The non-smoking suites were on the smoking floor and not redecorated since they had been used as reception suites with smoking. The first room was so heavy with smoke smell we had to move. The second one was better as it was the handicapped suite. Still there was smoke residue. As well the decoration was old fashioned except for the excellent bed linen.
Front desk and valet parking staff were very courteous and helpful. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Right downtown-great location.
The beds are supposed to have the adjustable mattresses-each side of the bed should be adjustable. despite 2 visits from maintenance,it never worked for our 2 night stay.
Clean, comfortable room. Quiet. Great view from south-facing 8th floor windows. Very nicely located and within walking distance of just about all downtown sights and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful when approached. In-hotel restaurant is privately owned, not a chain, and serves very good food. Other restaurants and pubs are within close distances.
Staff members were friendly and very helpful, rooms very comfortable and clean ,location was excellent for all downtown Halifax had to offer.
The suite was comfortable , we enjoyed the sauna and pool!
Waiting 30 minutes for valet parking to bring up our vehicle in the morning! And housekeeping banging on the door when I had told front desk I was checking out at noon. Our granddaughter also complained she was cold during the night sleeping on the pull out sofa!
spacious rooms, friendly efficient service, bathroom supplies were of good quality, good quality furniture and televisions.
Price was a bit steep for a night's stay.
Convenient location in heart of downtown; walking distance to Metro Centre, bar district and other attractions. Large suite with harbour view. Prompt and courteous valet parking.
Closwe to the wonderful harbour front and many excellent restaurants.
